Itineraries

Day 1

ARRIVAL IN PERTH

Transfer: Airport to Hotel

You would be met and transferred to your accommodation for the night.

Day 2

PERTH

Perth Mint Experience (Shared)

The Perth Mint is trusted globally for its precious metal refining and investment products and services, as a premier tourist destination and for its luxury jewellery. Find your perfect piece from Perth’s finest jewellery boutique. You will enjoy a Perth Mint Tour for 50-60 minutes, followed by 25-30 minutes to explore the gold exhibition and jewellery showroom at your own pace. At the end of the visit, you can pick up the medallion before leaving Perth Mint. The tour will be conducted on a join-in basis with other guests.

Fremantle Prison Tour (Shared)

One of Western Australia’s most fascinating cultural attractions, Fremantle Prison is the largest convict built structure in the state. With an unparallel importance, Fremantle Prison was listed in the World Heritage list in 2010. You may explore the Fremantle Prison precinct on a join-in basis by selecting one of the below options:

– Convict Prison: Discover the history of Fremantle Prison from its construction in the 1850s until the end of the convict era in 1886. This tour involves a number of stairs and is not recommended for those with mobility issues.

– Behind the Bars: Walk back in time through the Main Cell Block and exercise yards. Learn about the daily routine of prisoners and the realities of life on the inside.

– True Crimes: From bushrangers, thieves and murderers, to serial killers, bank robbers and escape artists; discover the real life stories of some of the Prison’s most notorious inmates. This tour is not recommended for children under the age of 10 years old.

Day 3

PERTH / PEMBERTON

Transfer: Perth to Pemberton

Today, you will be transferred for your road journey to Pemberton.

Pemberton is best known for its myriad of fresh produce. Intermingled with tall karri forest, the surrounding farmlands take centre stage in a thriving fruit and vegetable industry. With some of the most productive soils in Australia, a wide variety of produce is available year-round and often straight from the farms from which they are grown.

Welcome Dinner

Enjoy a decadent two-course feast courtesy of your private chef, Mel Kokoti. Holding the Australian Good Food Guide hat and ranked amongst the Top 50 Western Australia chefs for three years running, Mel will carefully curate each dish to highlight the wine you will be exploring throughout the entirety of your stay.

Day 4

PEMBERTON

Truffle Hunt!

Join Dion Rangé, owner and founder of the Stonebarn trufferie, one of the first private truffle growers in Pemberton. You’ll meet his three adorable truffle dogs and be taken on a private truffle hunt, uncovering the secrets of these incredible funghi that grace the menus of Michelin Star restaurants around the world.

After a morning unearthing truffles, we’ll enjoy truffled eggs with home baked bread and some carefully paired wines to compliment the umami essence of the truffle.

Pemberley of Pemberton

Visit the Pemberley of Pemberton – one of the most influential vine-growing families in the Southern Forest, with impact all over Western Australia. The Radomiljac family established Pemberley farm back in the 1970s and have been growing grapes since 1995 for some of the state’s most prestigious names, as well as their own wine label.

Not typically open to the public, if availability permits we can also arrange a rare behind-the-scenes opportunity to meet either the Radomiljac family or Picardy’s owner and winemaker Dan Pannell.

Three-Course Dinner at Stonebarn Lodge

You will be continuing your Pinot journey with local and international wine pairings.

Day 5

PEMBERTON

Honey Experience

Start the day with a hearty breakfast at the Dining Hall. We have a day of hands-on activities that will provide great discoveries, learning and fun. And for the taste buds to be tantalised!

Your morning will be dedicated to all things ‘bees and honey’ at Pemberton Honey Company. You will be guided by Mikey Cernotta through the world of honey production and the incredibly interesting world of bees, agriculture and nature. Thereafter, roll up your sleeves and learn about the art of candle making with Mikey’s wife Alexa, who runs her own soap and candle business.

After you clean your hands from all the sticky goodness, just in time for a rustic lunch of local produce back at Stonebarn Lodge.

Bread-Making with a Masterchef Star

Take a short break to refresh before a special breadmaking workshop will take place at Stonebarn, led by MasterChef’s favourite and South West local, Samira Damirova. Learn a trick or two while creating the true warmth of hospitality – a loaf of bread and Azerbaijan pastries!

Pinot Noir Masterclass with Dinner

After an afternoon at leisure, you will participate in a Pinot Noir masterclass followed by a decadent feast featuring Lillian Wines, one of the region’s most highly sought after producers. Enjoy a three-course dinner with a honey-infused dessert by the local Masterchef finalist.

Day 6

PEMBERTON

Pemberton Trail Hike

Lace up your hiking boots and head out to the Karri forests over the next few hours. Work up your sweat and earn your vino on the Pemberton trails, concluding with a warming camp lunch.

Farewell Gala Dinner

One last immersive journey is planned for you, with an in-depth tasting of wines from the foothills of the Italian alps through the Pemberton wineries down the road. As you travel from glass to glass, you will discover what makes a great truffle pairing and why these regions are renowned for their produces. These fabulous wines will be shared over an inspiring four-course meal.

Day 7

PEMBERTON / PERTH

Transfer: Hotel to Airport

After checking out, you will be transferred to Perth airport for your onwards journey.
